(Heb.4:12-13) For the word of god is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,it penetrates even on dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. ( When the bible is read and shared it cuts past everything to the truth... on our thoughts and in our hearts... and reveals to us who we really are and what we should do something about)
<13> Nothing in all creation is hidden from god's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (there are no secrets kept for God and he will hold us responsible for our choices)
( Proverbs 2:1-8) My son and daughter , if you accept my words (what the bible says) and store up my commands within you, ( remember what the Bible says and apply it in our lives) <2> turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understand, <3> and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, <4> and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, ( make an effort to read and understand) <5> than you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.<6> For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding,. <7> HE holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, <8> for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
